week 8 progress

 My routine for this course kind of changes every week. I feel like every week in this semester something hasn't gone to plan and i got thrown off course. But that's alright! Just learning to roll with the punches I guess. The class assignments I enjoy the most are the retelling assignments. I think it's fun and I can get really creative. I don't always get to be creative being a science major, science is what it is and there's very little wiggle room with it. So the retelling assignments have been a bit therapeutic for me. I need to take more advantage of the extra credit options because I would love to be able to finish this class early so I don't have to stress even more during dead week/finals week. Moving forward I want to try microfiction in my writing, but I'm hesitant because it's new and different. I've always been hesitant to change because it makes me nervous! But it is something I've been thinking about. I need to stay on top of or ahead of the assignments this second half of semester because it can get stressful. 

This little guy is my motivation to get through the semester. I can't wait to go home and spend a whole month with my little bestie!! Source: me:)
