growth mindset: deskercise

 I've always been that person that can't sit still for very long. My body always cramps up or spontaneously becomes uncomfortable. I constantly move and stretch my legs/arms whenever I'm sitting at a desk. I've also never been a person to get embarrassed in public by doing something that I needed to do (like stretching, taking a break, eating). My friends used to get embarrassed when I would take stretch breaks in the Bizz (especially during dead week haha) but they've learned to just ignore it. 

I chose to read the article, 6 Yoga Exercise You Won't Be Embarrassed To Do at Your Desk for 2 main reasons. The first is I love yoga in general. And the second is I love the easiness and accessibility of it.  These stretches released the tension that accumulated in my back and my neck for probably  a week (shoutout chem 2). I hold most of my stress in my neck and I try to remind myself periodically as a study to release my neck and roll out my shoulders. As I already use most of the 6 stretches provided in this article, I'm going to make my goal to use them more often. I might make a sticky note that never leaves my laptop reminding me to breathe and to stretch !!
